While there is a large amount of media
scrutiny surrounding the Australian Defence Force, frequently incidents
are misreported, exaggerated and sometimes fabricated. These
things are often cleared up in Department of Defence media releases,
however it isn't surprising that such corrections rarely make it back
into the mainstream media. Articles included in this section will
